PackZen’s sales and support teams have over 75 years of experience helping develop new packaging products for some of the world’s leading companies including Microsoft, Nationwide Insurance, Apple Computer, American Cancer Society, U.S. Armed Forces, American Express, Disney, Hilton, and many others. Using our manufacturing expertise, and working within strict deadlines to satisfy all customer demands, is what we are known for. We listen to customers and communicate your requirements to our in house design and engineering teams. Providing alternative ideas or options for approval throughout the project is very important to us. When developing any new product idea, our procedures include providing an engineering drawing and either handmade or machine prototypes for approval/signoffs before moving to the production stage.
The majority of PackZen products are made using a variety of flexible plastic films including polypropylene and vinyl in varying thicknesses. Our expansive production facility has a large array of equipment for producing vinyl products, and high-speed web-fed RF sealing presses used to manufacture a wide range of pockets, pouches and adhesive sleeves. Automated sealing options plus inline die cutting and print registration capabilities, allow us to offer custom shaped products with full-color print and branding advantages.
PackZen products are produced using a variety of plastic films and materials. The packaging products manufactured on our RF sealing equipment use PVC based materials. Our binders are typically made of high grade .014 gauge opaque vinyl, in suede or french calf finishes, and are available in a wide selection of colors. We also work with Shoe Kid and Moire, along with Cortina and Montana printed types of vinyl. For a richer, leather-like look, Castilian expanded vinyl’s are available in a variety of colors. When decorating your binder with full-color digital printing, we suggest using a bright white suede vinyl to showcase your artwork.
For the clear pockets, pouches and sleeves produced on our high speed automated web presses, we’ll work with thinner gauge materials, typically .05 to .10 gauge types of vinyl. We stock many thicknesses and finishes of clear vinyl’s and will source unstocked materials within 1-2 days. PackZen is also your source for protective packaging products using our Safety-sleeve non-woven materials. For over 25 years Safety-sleeve has provided the highest level of protection available for optical discs, this same material is now available for other types of protective packaging. PSA (adhesive-backed) films are available as an option for most any sleeve or pocket we produce. A peel and stick full adhesive backing is available in clear or white vinyl, we can also apply double-faced tape to most sleeves & pockets in line on our equipment.
Full-color digital printing directly on to our binders and cases has revolutionized the look of decorated looseleaf products. In addition to the unlimited branding opportunities made possible by this technology, one of the real advantages of digital printing is that it’s available for small to medium-sized production runs. The traditional decorating techniques of screen print, foil stamping, emboss/deboss and entrapped graphics are also offered on all PackZen binders and cases. For larger production runs of sleeves and pockets, PackZen offers full-color flexographic printing as an economical and attractive way to brand your packaging.
